BlurCast — blur any screen region in real time
Blur any part of your screen — in real time, right where you work.
BlurCast is a Chrome extension. Drag a box over anything on a web page and it is blurred instantly: API keys, emails, customer names, invoice numbers, private messages. Keep working, keep recording — the blur stays put.
Works where other blur tools fail Most blur extensions hook into page elements (the DOM), so they break on canvas-based apps. BlurCast paints the blur on top of the screen, so it works on Google Docs, Notion, Figma, and other canvas apps that competitors simply can't cover.
Survives page refresh Reload the tab and your blurred regions come right back — no need to redraw them every time. Set it once, record as many takes as you want.
Built for real-time screen recording Made for tutorial videos, product demos, screenshots, and live screen sharing on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, or Loom.
